Huge Media Advertising Ltd have recently offered their services to Bernie Buxton MBE who is the Treasurer of the Liverpool Taxi Drivers Children in Care Outing Fund (LTDCICOF) to help promote the charity that he set up with fellow taxi drivers in what is now its 30th year.
Huge Media has a strong affiliation with the Liverpool Taxi Trade and together with some help from our friends’, designers, suppliers, fitters and taxi drivers got together to help promote the charity. We designed a taxi advertising promotion to help tell the story of the great work that has been done by Bernie, all the taxi drivers and everyone who has helped out over the past 30 years. The LTDCICOF is dedicated to helping local children in care across the Merseyside area. The first support from local taxi drivers was through fundraising, and this progressed as the charity developed to be able to take the children on successive trips to some great locations. We are very proud of the work that the LTDCICOF do and remain dedicated to supporting this great charity and the deserving children who it supports.
We were able to create a montage of all the different days out over the past 30 years that have taken place in various locations such as Morecambe Frontier Land, Southport Pleasure Land, Camelot Theme Park, Euro Disney and many more. The pictures include images of Taxi Drivers who donate their vehicles and valuable time, Merseyside Police Traffic Division, the children and their carers. We were also able to promote forthcoming events and Golfing days out that help to bring much-needed funds for the charity to function.
We would also like to wish Bernie the best of luck for his trip to Buckingham Palace where he will receive his much deserved MBE and to thank him for all he has done for many children in the Merseyside area over the past 30 years as well as serving the travelling public of Merseyside during his long career as a Liverpool Licensed Hackney Cab Driver.
